Guests include Howard Gordon, Executive Producer of 24, the hit Fox TV series; Kamran Pasha, writer of Showtime’s series, Sleeper Cell, which ran from 2006-2008; Maz Jobrani, an Iranian-American comedian and actor who has appeared in numerous television programs and movies; and Zarqa Nawaz, creator of the Canadian TV series Little Mosque on the Prairie. The program highlights the ongoing evolution of how Muslims are depicted in American film and television: from stereotypical evil terrorists toward a more nuanced depiction of a range of complex characters.
